Landen, Belgium

I felt almost "at home" in Landen today. We had Melbourne weather. I enjoyed a quiet morning catching up with mail and viewing my photos so far.
A 20 minute walk took me 2 hours (return) as I played tourist and noted all the details a tourist sees.
Pepin Van Landen, descendant of Charlemagne. The Belgian's predilection for putting a treasured object in the window; often a Chinese vase or a beautiful orchid. As Deborah likes.
