When I got my chooks (Aussie for hens) in February this year, I read up all about "keeping chooks in the city". Good egg hygiene was on the list, as the shells are porous. So the Egg Tawashi was born! (Tawashi, a Japanese scrubbie - in this case ta-washi (to wash) the eggs).
